Home theater speaker setup

Typical home theater with 5.1 channels are configured. The 5 refers to the use of five speakers, or channels, right, center, left front, right rear, and a survivor. The.1 shows a subwoofer for low frequency effects. For most home channel configurations is 5.1 enough, but some common configurations, two surround channels, called Dolby Digital Plus 7.1. This includes an additional channel surround left and right surround. But … The fun does not stop there. To set new 9.1-channel configurations, known as Dolby Pro Logic IIz. This configuration includes two front channels, a left speaker of the front door and a right speaker to left. The idea is the feeling of space and depth to the sound box to add the position of the speakers high above the existing front door channels.

You need not be confused with an election in which design to choose for your home> Theatre. I like a good setup and put a strong emphasis on sound. But the excellent results that have not reached all the hype up – for it is not Channel 9, that you do not even seventh five programs for the theater are more perfect.

Go 5.1 with the sound result achieved what you want and money in the process. If you have more channels, more demands on the receiver. And if you're worried about losingall the new sounds of the recent film, do not worry … most are not registered to 5.1, and most importantly, I'm sure you will not even notice a difference in the addition of extra channels. But if your intention is 20 meters to build a large theater with higher ceilings, you can explore channels 9 or 7 in my design and planning, I decided I wanted to stick to 5.1, but also keeping my options open in the future if I changed my mind.

To knowThe studios are always trying to create new audio and printed media for the consumer, I decided my room to future proof my best. I run extra speaker cable running 9-channel configuration and installation of PVC pipes in my attic so I could quickly and easily to new thread running in the future. The additional costs are minimal, and I think that your investment in the future to protect. In addition, as a speaker cable has never failed, so it can be easilyswap-out.

Another thing I did for my 5.1 setup is a compliment to add additional subwoofer. An additional sub is not required, but two is usually better than one for a couple of reasons. When you use the same brand and model, plus a sub would be much better bass response. The sounds will not be evenly distributed, and listening will be expanded. The sound quality will cover all areas of your seat and you have a very difficult time determiningsource of low frequency, often with a single sub bass sounds from his chair and lumpy one of the other. Assume good location, a sub is good but two is even better!

Bottom line, when you design your home all you need is a 5 channels, not covered by all the hype about adding extra channels useless. If the receiver supports the use of two subwoofers, and add an extra excursion. And last but not least, remember to secure the futureyour room with a few extra wires and pipes.
